Airtel offers you the chance to add up to 5 phone numbers to your Family and Friends list, and you won’t incur any charges in doing so.

But if you want to add more phone numbers, in addition to the 5 already in your FaF list, you will be required to pay a service fee of ₦50 per phone number added.

We recommend that you add phone numbers that you frequently call to your Family and Friends list. Some people chose to add the phone numbers of their partner, their clients, customers, or their family relations since these are the individuals they call often call.

How You Can Migrate to Airtel Family And Friends Plan

Several Nigerians often wonder if there is any need to migrate to a special Airtel plan that supports the Family and Friends feature. How Is SmartConnect Plan Related to Airtel Family and Friends?

The call rate that this package brings varies based on the time of the day. Any call you place between 6 AM to 10 PM to your FaF phone numbers will go for 25 kobo per second, whereas the call rate is 21 kobo per second from 10 PM to 6 AM.

But if you’re making your call with the SmartConnect bonus, the call rate is pegged at 40 kobo per sec. (which is ₦24 per minute) regardless of the time you are making the call.
