Samsung Galaxy A60 Review

Let us take a deeper look at the features and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A60.

Body and Design

Samsung ranks among the very best when it comes to smartphone designs and all the line-up of A series confirm this. The front of the Galaxy A60 looks chic and simple and yet very unique. The front comes without notch and has just a camera on the top left.

The back side has also been designed with creativity as the well placed triple camera set sit at the top left corner and is followed by LED flashlight in a vertical line. The smartphone also features a rear fingerprint sensor at the center of the rear.  The smartphone comes in two main colors – Blue and Dark Blue.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy A60 features a really big display and screen size of 6.3 Inches with a commanding resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The screen boasts IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with up to 16 million colors with a ratio of 19:5:9.

Camera

Samsung has always been known for their smart and sharp camera quality and it is safe to expect the same here. At the rear, the smartphone is loaded with well-placed triple capturing lenses of 32 Megapixels, 8 Megapixels and an additional 5 Megapixels with apertures f/1.7, f/2.2, and f/2.2 respectively. The 8 MP camera lens comes with an ultra-wide feature while the 5 MP lens boasts depth sensor.

Battery

Perhaps one of the main downsides of the phone. The Samsung Galaxy A60 is powered by a non-removable with a battery capacity of just 3500mAH Li-Po. Impressively though, it boasts fast charging options at 15W. Given the spec and efficiency of the smartphone, one would have expected better battery capacity.

Operating System and Processor

Samsung Galaxy A60 is largely a good performing smartphone as it boasts very stable and powerful spec. It features a processor of 2 × 2.0 Octa Core and is followed by Adreno 612 of GPU.  Galaxy A60 A60 is loaded with the latest Operating System, the Android Pie and also features chipset of Qualcomm SDM 675 Snapdragon 675. The smartphone features a RAM of 6 GB and a corresponding 128 GB of internal storage that can be expanded to up 1 TB.

Samsung Galaxy A60: Things You Will Like About The Smartphone

Impressive RAM and Internal Storage: For a Samsung smartphone a little above N100, 000 to boast 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal memory storage is a top one. You can be guaranteed amazing smartphone performance for its category.

USB Type C-Support: The type-c USB is becoming increasingly common in the gadget world and for this smartphone to feature this type of USB port is a plus.

Pocket-Friendly: Does this point deserve to be on the advantage segment? Maybe. While Galaxy A60 cannot be compared to other Samsung flagship phones, the standard phone serve as cheaper alternatives and the price is reasonably competitive.

Samsung Galaxy A60: Things May Not Like About The Smartphone

Battery Capacity Should Be Better: Okay. Whatever Samsung was thinking, they got this totally wrong. While the fast charging feature is one positive side to look at, the smartphone’s 3500 mAh is just not encouraging. For a smartphone of such spec, you’d expect better battery capacity.

No Gorilla Glass Protection: Most users of the latest breed of Samsung phones have gotten used to the Gorilla screen the phones boast. Given the fragility of most Samsung smartphone’s screen, the Gorilla glass has become very important. The fact that the Galaxy A6 does not feature one is heart-breaking. This means users have to be extra careful and getting a screen guard is not just an option, it is a necessity.

Conclusion

The Samsung Galaxy A60 is a great smartphone as it boasts lovely specs and user-friendly features. It goes for a decent price and rates as one of the very best in the mid-range category today.
