Samsung Galaxy A40 Review
Let us take a look at the features and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A40.
Body and Design
The Galaxy A40 is one of the most beautiful and classy in the A series in terms of design. The glass back shows lovely effects depending on the color you have decided to go for. For instance, when you move the white model, it sparkles in all multi-colored colors. While the blue, black, and coral models also shine some light reflections, although they are not as spectacular as the white.
The Galaxy A40 is the coolest to hold in one hand as it is the shortest and slimmest smartphone of the series. It measures 144.3 x 69.0 x 7.9 mm and has a 5.9-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2220) display with a Super AMOLED panel.
Display
As a unique feature in the inexpensive mid-range series, Samsung uses an AMOLED display of most of the smartphone in the A-series. The Galaxy A40 is no exemption here and also features a decent 2340 x 1080 pixels, which relates to a somewhat expanded Full HD resolution.
Operating System and Processor
The smartphone features an Exynos 7884 chipset that is boosted by a lovely 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 512 GB with a dedicated microSD card slot. The smartphone allows for dual SIM and a microSD card at the same time.
Amazingly, there is an option of FM radio, and NFC as well as the latest Bluetooth version in Bluetooth 5.0. The USB connection allows data to be transferred at only USB-2.0 speed. Another great news is that the smartphone features the USB Type-C port, which is the trending USB port at the moment.
Camera
Compared to the Samsung Galaxy A6 of 2018, the camera organization has changed expressively. The smartphone now features a dual-camera system at the rear and a very resolving lens in the front of the smartphone.
The main camera remains to have a resolution of 16 Megapixels and an additional 5-Megapixel secondary lens with a 123 degrees wide angle. You should expect lovely picture quality and outstanding delivery. Like most other smartphones of the series, Galaxy A40 boasts various exciting modes.
Battery
Galaxy A40 features 3100 mAh battery capacity, one of the low points of the smartphone given its chic design and compelling specs and features. Although the lovely smartphone really offers long-lasting battery life to a great extent, the battery capacity is relatively disappointing. It also boasts a fast charging feature like most other smartphones in the series.
