Samsung Galaxy A30S Review
Let us take a look at the features and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A30s.
Body and Design
The Samsung Galaxy A30s boasts similar build and design as the cheap Galaxy A20 and the A30s smartphones. Just like some other A Series smartphones, the Galaxy A30s is quite delicate and is prone to be scratched easily and hence, would require a phone case and a screen protector all the time to shelter the screen.
Display
Samsung Galaxy A30s has a relatively large 6.4 inches of Super AMOLED display, which comes with 720 x 1560 pixels of screen resolution and about 84.9 percent screen-to-body ratio, just like in the Galaxy A30. The smartphone boasts a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and 16M colours.
Operating System and Processor
Just like the Samsung Galaxy A30, the Galaxy A30s features the company’s new One UI software, which enables users to operate phones with just one hand, regardless of the size of the phone. It features Octa-core (2×1.8 GHz Cortex-A73 & 6×1.6 GHz Cortex-A53) that is boosted by 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM, depending on the model you are going for, and 32 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 1 TB with a dedicated microSD card slot.
Camera
Samsung Galaxy A30S boasts triple camera setup which includes a 25 MP main camera with f/1.7, a secondary 8 MP, with f/2.2, 13mm as ultrawide lens, and an additional 5 MP depth sensor. This comes as a credible upgrade to the Galaxy A30 released earlier. While the camera is not as sharp especially in low light, it is one of the best in the mid-range category. Just like in the Galaxy A30, there are different camera modes available including Pro, Photo, Video and Live Focus.
Battery
The Samsung Galaxy A30s is boosted by a commendable 4000 mAh battery. This ensures the lovely smartphone offers a long-lasting battery life and decent general performance both in light and heavy usage. Its 15W fast charging features means you can charge the phone from 0 to a hundred percent in less than 2 hours, 30 minutes.
Samsung Galaxy A30S: Things You Will Like about the Smartphone
- Smooth Design: Samsung does not fail when it comes to smartphone designs and they have done very well with the A30s. The smartphone boasts a sleek design with an attractive body that makes it very easy to hold and slot into the pocket.
- Battery Capacity and Fast Charging Feature: Galaxy A30s boasts 4000 mAh battery capacity, just like the Galaxy A30, which one of the biggest in the A-series. In addition, it’s fast charging features ensure you can fully charge the phone in less than two and a half hours, which comes as a plus to Samsung fans.
- Great Screen and Display: This perhaps, is one factor the Galaxy A30s has over many other smartphones in the mid-range category. It boasts a lovely screen resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels with an approximate 268 ppi density. Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen is great for gaming and guarantees bright and sharp display. This is one of the reasons the phone is highly rated in the category.
Samsung Galaxy A30s: Things You May Not Like About The Smartphone
- Low Speaker Output: This was an issue with the Galaxy A30 and the brand has not done much to correct this here. If you are a lover of good music and enjoy listening to songs on your mobile phone, you may likely have one or two things to complain about when it comes to Galaxy A30s. The positioning of the speaker does not really help full optimization of the output, especially when in use. The output is also not very great.
