Maryam Saleh is an Egyptian singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born on July 23, 1985, in Cairo, Egypt. Saleh is known for her distinctive vocal style and her ability to blend traditional Arabic music with various contemporary genres, including rock, jazz, and electronic music.

Maryam Saleh began her musical career as a member of the all-female Egyptian band “Sekket al-Salama” (The Safety Pin) in 2005. The band gained recognition for their unique fusion of rock, reggae, and Egyptian folk music. Saleh’s powerful voice and captivating stage presence contributed to the band’s popularity.
