Eric Wainaina is a Kenyan musician, singer, songwriter, and producer. He was born on December 28, 1973, in Nairobi, Kenya. Wainaina is known for his soulful voice, thought-provoking lyrics, and his ability to fuse various musical styles, including Afro-pop, Benga, R&B, and reggae.

Eric Wainaina rose to prominence in the late 1990s with his debut album, “Sawa Sawa.” The album became a huge success and earned him widespread recognition. One of the most popular songs from the album is “Nchi ya Kitu Kidogo,” which addresses the issue of corruption in Kenya.
