BMW X6: An SUV-Coupe Crossover

The BMW X6 is a mid size, four-door, four-person luxury crossover, having the visage of a BMW X model, but with the sporty performance of a coupe. The X6 is based on the old BMW 5 and 6 series. It combines SUV and coupe attributes, featuring an all-wheel drive, high ground clearance, all-weather ability, and large tires, but also a sloped, streamlined roof.

The X6 was first unveiled in April 2008 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, featuring the 2009 model year. The second (and current) model generation of the BMW X6 debuted in 2014.

The BMW X6 is available in the Philippines, exclusively distributed by SMC Asia Car Distributors Corporation, the official local partner of BMW.

Gasoline-powered X6 variants are the sDrive35i, xDrive35i, the xDrive50i, and X6 M. Diesel-powered variants are the xDrive30d, xDrive40d, and X6 M50d.
